Le développement Evergreen

Le projet Evergreen Development représente une occasion importante de montrer comment le sens aigu de l’ingénierie peut être exploité pour résoudre des problèmes complexes d’aménagement du territoire. En tant qu’entreprise tentaculaire s’étendant sur 127 acres avec un plan visant à abriter 295 lots à une densité de 2,5 unités d’habitation par acre, les aspirations du projet sont aussi nobles que les défis sont concrets.

Vision et défis du projet

Le projet Evergreen Development vise à atteindre un équilibre harmonieux entre l’aménagement du territoire et la conservation de la nature. Les surfaces en pente du site et l’objectif d’obtenir des volumes de terrassement équilibrés sans dépendre de bassins de rétention ont ouvert la voie à un projet à la fois ambitieux et novateur.

Raccordement d’égout sur un sol fragile

L’un des principaux défis découle de la nécessité d’établir un raccordement au système d’égout existant. Le point de connexion se trouve sur un sol fragile dans une zone humide, qui présente d’importants défis de construction en raison de la nature délicate de l’environnement.

Pour remédier aux conditions de sol instables dans la zone humide, nous proposons de stabiliser le terrain à l’aide de techniques écologiques, ce qui peut inclure la refonte du point de connexion pour minimiser les perturbations. La collaboration avec des experts en environnement est essentielle pour respecter les réglementations et protéger les habitats délicats des zones humides.

Repenser le drainage et le contrôle de l’érosion

La gestion du terrain en pente et des subtilités de drainage qui y sont associées nécessite une analyse systématique du débit d’eau. Nous réaménagerons éventuellement les plans de drainage, en y intégrant des mesures de contrôle de l’érosion qui respectent les ravins et les pentes existants, assurant ainsi un système de gestion de l’eau stable et durable.
